Nestled deep in the Cascade Range near Crater Lake, this pool-drop river makes a great whitewater playground. And the LCCC plays here on an annual basis; join us!

We have reserved the "ball field" for group camping on Friday and Saturday nights. This has a large mowed grass area for pitching tents, a large group covering for cooking and eating, and a pit toilet.

We usually drive down Friday and on Saturday do the Boulder Flat to Horseshoe Bend, Class 2 run. On Sunday we run Horseshoe to Gravel Bin, Class 3 with one arguably Class 3+/4- rapid. This year we hope to also paddle on Friday. Meet at the ball field at 1 pm if you’d like to join the Friday afternoon fun. We’ll decide which stretch to run based on people’s preferences Friday.
