Do you paddle all winter, or switch to a snow sport? The answer to this question will depend in part on where you live, but if you are a Pacific Northwest or Southeastern paddler, the best paddling often happens in winter, when the leaves are down and the rains come. Being prepared for the cold water and air, and able to accomplish your mission in spite of short days is not automatic. You have to mean to do it.
Join us for tips on thriving in cold water and weather from Dana Benton, Susan Sherman, Dan House and the LCCC’s Teresa Gryder.
Here is a copy of the slide deck in case you’d like to read through the details. We didn’t speak to every point so there’s info to tap.
