LCCC Potluck w CRAG Law Center

Save the date for an LCCC member potluck at club member Dan Parker’s house. We’ll gather for a shared meal and also to hear a presentation from the CRAG Law Center, recipient of the club’s 2022 Conservation Award. Representatives from CRAG will tell us about the laws they use to protect rivers, and highlight a few key cases.

Date: Thursday, April 13th

Time: 6:30 p.m.

Host: Dan Parker

Location: 9940 SW McDonald St, Tigard, OR 97224

Program: Two attorneys, Maura Fahey and Oliver Stiefel, from the Crag Law Center, recipient of the LCCC 2022 annual conservation donation, will give a talk on how they use environmental laws to protect rivers in the Pacific Northwest.

This is a potluck. Bring food! If your last name begins with: A-H, please bring a salad or side dish; I-O bring a dessert;; P-Z, please bring a main dish. Each person or family should bring enough food for a crowd. Please bring your own reusable dinner service (plate, bowl, utensils) and beverage.

Seating: Dan has lots of chairs, but to ensure you have a seat, you might want to bring a portable chair that won’t mar a wood floor.

Parking: Dan lives on a busy 2-lane road with no curb parking. Best place to park is on SW 98th Ave. Google his address: 9940 SW McDonald St, Tigard, OR 97224 and you’ll see it’s on the same side of the road that his house is. It’s an easy walk from SW 98th to his house—no busy street to cross. It might be a good idea for everyone to leave part of Dan’s driveway free for drivers to drop off passengers, chairs, potluck dishes, etc., before they go park.
