This skill builder is oriented toward intermediate hardshell kayakers who are interested in tuning up their boofing, surfing, and overall river running skills. You should have a generally reliable roll and be comfortable in Class III. Group size is limited to 10. Watch for an email via the Club’s Google Group for more information closer to the date.

In 2021, Sage Donnelly won a triple crown — winning the North Fork Championship, the Russell Fork Race and the Green Race. She also lapped Fantasy Falls, styled the Untouchables, and took on the Susitna, a big water and big rapid(!) river in Alaska. Sage is a Kokotat brand ambassador and an instructor with the California Watersport Collective. In March she’ll be in the Pacific Northwest to compete in the Little White River Race and is offering this exclusive class to the LCCC as a follow-up to her talk with the Club on Breaking Down Scary Rapids.
