Human Factor: Know Thyself for Better Whitewater Decision Making
Trip Kinney, an Alaska-based critical care nurse, skier and paddler will join us to discuss the next layer of the Human Factor with a keen look at some common and dangerous mistakes and why we make them. His paddling risk management perspective is informed by the ongoing evolution of safety consciousness in high stakes environments. We will arrive at a core lesson that applies in every sport: good decisions depend on strong self knowledge.
