LCCC Winter Party 2025!

Save the DATE! 1/18/24 at the Lucky Lab in Multnomah Village

Mark your calendars so you don't miss it! It's always fun. This is usually our biggest gathering of the year with food, awards, a year-in-review show, and a vote for the club's board. The format is changing because for years it was a massive potluck hosted by members Rob Elliott and Judy Peabody. This time we're trying out the 2nd floor party room at the Multnomah Village Lucky Lab (7675 SW Capitol Hwy). The LCCC is buying pizza and salad, and please bring your favorite dessert to share. Beer or wine is on you.

Send Photos/Videos ASAP for the 2024 Year-in-Review

Contribute to the Year-in-Review by emailing your images and videos to Bruce BY NOVEMBER 30! He'll put together a show with whatever we send him. The Year-in-Review will be presented at the Winter Party at the Multnomah Lucky Lab on January 18th.

Nominate Club Members for Awards!!!

We'd all love it if you pick someone to recognize, and are willing to say so. We'll give them a medal. Or something. It's even better if you loop in President Bruce . The most coveted LCCC prize is the Holy Paddle, which is used to honor those who have given a lot to the club and the paddling community. There's the spatula (most flips) and lots of other possible prizes. Rookie of the year is a good one. Most improved is another one. Basically Club Awards don't happen if nobody has the guts to tell a tale on somebody else, so go ahead, tell it! There's nothing more awesome than hearing river stories about the people around you.
